The Foundation supported the restoration of the original ornamental wrought iron fence and gates at the front entrance of the Vilna Shul temple, an historic 1919 building on the North Slope of the old West End of Boston. In addition, a 1998 Henderson Foundation grant supported the restoration of the prominent Star of David stained glass window on the building’s front facade.
